Houston Area Hail Storm Leaves Solar Panels Useless

A hail storm southwest of Houston has destroyed 1,000s of acres of Solar Panels

In Damon Texas, the costly panels have been rendered useless.

Concerns have emerged that Cadmium Telluride, a rare metal used in the manufacturing of solar panels could leak into the area's water supply.

The EPA does have a notice for Cadmium Telluride leaching: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5607867/

At the time of this post, the Environmental Protection Agency has not made an announcement as to any dangers of contaminated water risks.
